This ring guard is easy to attach and won't slip off. It acts as a ring wrap to adjust the size of your ring and keep your ring in place. The two prongs wrap around the ring to secure the hold. Once on the ring the ring guard can be adjusted from 1/8 to 1.5 sizes smaller. For longer lasting wear, set it and forget it. They are 1.6mm wide, 0.60mm thick and are 16.75mm where it would attach to the ring - recommended for ring size 7 and larger. Please measure carefully.

This ring guard is perfect and comfortable for resizing a ring that is too large. I made a size 7 ring fit my 5-3/4 size finger. Fairly easy to attach to ring, but BE WARNED: Using pliers and tightening this guard to my ring scratched my band pretty severely. My ring is sterling silver, so maybe a better metal would be more resistant, but as far as silver, this guard can definitely damage your ring.
That being said... this is exactly what I needed for my ring and is very comfortable. It doesn't even feel like I have the guard on. I would recommend this product but advise you to aim to adjust it only once to avoid scratching your band.
