This ring guard is easy to attach and won't slip off. It acts as a ring wrap to adjust the size of your ring and keep your ring in place. The two prongs wrap around the ring to secure the hold. Once on the ring the ring guard can be adjusted from 1/8 to 1.5 sizes smaller. For longer lasting wear, set it and forget it. They are 2.1mm wide, 0.82mm thick and are 17.9mm where it would attach to the ring - recommended for ring size 7 and larger. Please measure carefully.

That is why people have been unhappy with this product. I bought the smaller. the size ought to have been perrect. It fit, but just. I bought the larger and it works much better.
